We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Business Analyst for our client, a major provincial utility organization.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Systematix is supporting a major provincial utility. The organization is seeking a Business Analyst to support enterprise initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements, facilitating stakeholder alignment, and supporting solution delivery readiness.

This role is intended to ensure business needs are clearly understood, translated into actionable requirements, and traceable through delivery within a structured, regulated utility environment.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead requirements elicitation through interviews, workshops, and working sessions
• Document business and functional requirements and supporting artifacts
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability
• Document current-state and future-state business processes and workflows
• Identify gaps, risks, assumptions, and dependencies impacting delivery
• Support solution validation and user acceptance testing readiness
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and vendors
• Support stakeholder engagement, communication, and change activities
• Produce documentation suitable for governance and audit requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Must-have:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise initiatives
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
• Proven stakeholder facilitation and communication skills
• Experience working with technical delivery teams
• Experience working in structured or regulated environments
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with periodic onsite visits in Regina, Saskatchewan

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in utilities, Crown corporations, or public-sector environments
• Business process modeling experience
• Experience working in vendor-managed or multi-team delivery environments
• Experience supporting testing and UAT activities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Location: Hybrid – remote with periodic onsite visits in Regina, Saskatchewan

Planned Start Date: March 2, 2026

Planned End Date: March 31, 2027

Guaranteed Utilization: 100%

Work Hours: Standard business hours (37.5 hours/week)

PAY DISCLOSURE:

The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:

Intermediate (6–9 years): $75–95/hr

Senior (10+ years): $95–115/hr

Compensation is commensurate with experience, skills, and market conditions.
