Heliene has established an Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) that manages a Project Management Framework on behalf of Heliene to maximize impact on company objectives, minimize risk, and set priorities. The goal of this centralized department is to provide company-wide guidance, governance, standardized processes, project portfolio management best practices, and provide tools and techniques.

The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing requirements, and ensuring that project deliverables align with the organization's strategic goals. Reporting to the Director of EPMO, the Business Analyst will manage conflicts, issues, and changes to requirements, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment on current project needs. The Business Analyst will also play a critical role in the identification, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of technology-driven solutions to support projects at Heliene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meetings with other departments to extract problem statements, define requirements, and consolidate data for decision making.
  • Work with all aspects of the business to analyze and understand the current organizational process and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct process flow mapping and value stream mapping sessions to support business case development.
  • Ensure that business stakeholders and project teams remain in agreement on the solution scope during project initiation and implementation.
  • Support project teams with timely data analysis to drive business benefits from our strategic projects and focus on solution delivery.
  • Improve project success rates by adopting a risk-focused strategy to identify and document project risks and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.
  • Support projects to follow a stage-gate approach to project ideation, initiation, and progression through execution phases to ensure that visibility and resourcing are successfully achieved by the organization.
  • Utilize the Heliene PMF collection of tools and templates during project development.
  • Conduct user training on project tools and templates, as well as productivity apps including Microsoft Planner, Loop, ToDo and AI applications.
  • Identify improvements to the framework including new technologies or methods that facilitate project success.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management or equivalent, with three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset
  • Prior experience working within a cross-functional project-based environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and an analytical mindset to identify problems and turn them into solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience in creating business cases
  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate large pieces of data into informative conclusions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 Annually
