Position Overview
The Business Analyst partners with our Sales team and works closely with our customers, merchandising, creativity, and sourcing departments to support sales strategy initiatives. The position is responsible for the utilization of data analytics to drive outstanding results.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties
The primary Responsibilities and Duties of this position are:
- Be responsible for updating customer sales reports weekly as well as identifying highlights / action points
- Analyze program results and deliver conclusions that support OKR’s (objectives and key results)
- Identify trends / commonalities across customers by program
- Provide historical analysis and action points cross functionally that supports current and future development
- Analyze performance of top items sold at retail in smaller business channels such as e commerce and specialty stores
- Collate and present weekly department store top styles, combined and by account
- Develop reports that track style sell thru by category and offer guidance that can focus the sales team’s efforts towards problematic areas, thereby increasing our brand exposure and decreasing inventory liability
- Provide Director of Planning & Sales Analysis and retail partners with pull up opportunities to maximize in month / in quarter shipment opportunities
- Partner with retail Planners in identifying replenished item opportunities
- Monitor in bound bookings to identify at risk styles and reconcile status of production orders between sales and transportation systems; Offer recommendations to prevent future shipping liabilities at our domestic and international warehouses
- Maximize opportunities by performing order maintenance and coordinating order updates with sales team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail customer counterparts
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum Associates Degree Business Administration, Marketing or the combination of education and 3-5 relevant experience, with a focus on results driven communication
- Strong analytical abilities
- Strong time management and organizational skills and abilities
- The ability to communicate clearly and work cross functionally
- Proficient in Microsoft office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power point
- Experience with mass merchandise and national retailers a Plus
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics / D365 a Plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift: Mon-Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm
