About the Role

The Business Intelligence Analyst plays an important part in our Business Intelligence team and helps turn data into insights that drive better decisions across the company. In this entry-level role, you will create dashboards, build reports, and transform raw data into meaningful insights using Power BI, Excel, and SQL. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support operational reporting, expense tracking, performance analysis, and KPI development, while leveraging enhanced and automated processes to improve efficiency across the organization.

This role blends the mindset of a software engineer with the workload of finance and data analysis. It is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with numbers, and making data actionable.

What You’ll Do

  • Clean, organize, and transform data from internal systems such as ARIVE into accurate, usable reports
  • Build and maintain Excel-based reports, including KPIs, rankings, compensation plans, and budgeting tools
  • Create and update dashboards and reports using Power BI within the Microsoft technology stack
  • Analyze performance data to determine rankings and insights for Loan Officers and other business units
  • Support leadership with ad hoc data requests, reporting, and analysis
  • Identify data inconsistencies and work through solutions to improve accuracy and usability
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand reporting needs and business goals

What You Bring

  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data transformation is preferred
  • Ability to understand and work with data, numbers, and basic financial concepts
  • Strong arithmetic skills and comfort with mental math
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a “make it happen” mindset
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes
  • Growth mindset and desire to continuously improve
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Accounting or a related field preferred
  • Experience with Power BI, macros, or backend coding is a plus
