Business Systems Analyst – Enterprise Survey Platform (Qualtrics)
Duration: 5-Month Engagement
Location: Torrance, CA (100% Onsite)

The Enterprise Survey Platform (ESP) Business Systems Analyst will support the delivery, enhancement, and operational readiness of the Qualtrics platform used for customer and dealer experience programs.
This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams, ensuring survey programs, dashboards, workflows, and integrations are delivered accurately and efficiently.
The BSA will focus on requirements refinement, backlog management, testing, UAT coordination, and vendor oversight, supporting the completion of platform development and ongoing enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Delivery Support

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for surveys, dashboards, workflows, and integrations
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Create and maintain documentation including process flows, data mappings, and requirement artifacts
  • Support vendor-led development and configuration to ensure alignment with business objectives

Quality Assurance & UAT

  • Write, review, and refine test cases for surveys, dashboards, reporting, and data flows
  • Execute system testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users
  • Validate end-to-end workflows and data accuracy across platforms
  • Track, triage, and ensure resolution of defects and enhancement requests

Backlog Management & Operational Execution

  • Maintain and prioritize the backlog in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Balance enhancements, defects, and operational requests based on business value and urgency
  • Troubleshoot issues related to survey logic, distributions, dashboards, and integrations
  • Document issues, root causes, and resolutions for knowledge sharing

Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as primary liaison with vendor teams for requirements clarification and QA support
  • Ensure vendor alignment on scope, timelines, deliverables, and SLAs
  • Communicate progress, risks, and delivery timelines to internal stakeholders

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Conduct requirement workshops with business users
  • Review and validate vendor survey and workflow designs
  • Manage UAT cycles and test execution
  • Monitor platform issues and support ticket queues
  • Validate dashboard/report accuracy and access controls
  • Track milestones and provide regular status updates
  • Train users on survey usage and reporting as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Qualtrics or another enterprise survey / VoC platform
  • Strong understanding of survey logic, data flows, reporting, and dashboards
  • Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall delivery models
  • Strong documentation, requirement-writing, and analytical skills
  • Experience writing test cases and coordinating UAT
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise survey or Voice of Customer (VoC) programs
  • Exposure to data governance and privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Familiarity with Qualtrics dashboards, reporting, and data feeds
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Understanding of analytics, customer data, or integration workflows
