As the Data Analyst- ERP, you support the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 by ensuring accurate, high quality data migration from legacy systems to D365. Led by the Director, ERP – ETL and Data Governance, this opportunity will best suit someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and bridging the gap between business and technical teams.

  • Conduct data analysis and mapping legacy data sources to D365 targets, and document.
  • Conduct data profiling, cleansing, migration and quality management activities as well as validation checks to ensure clean data for D365 and downstream consumption by user community.
  • Ensure data cleansing & mapping aligns with business processes & D365 module requirements.
  • Assist in extracting, transforming & loading data from legacy systems into D365.
  • Provide reporting on data quality metrics & migration progress when required.
  • Work with business stakeholders and others to understand data requirements and define data quality standards.
  • Collaborate with members of the implementation team as well as others to ensure seamless data migration and cleansing.
  • Support change management efforts to assist in user adoption.

We’re looking for:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Expertise in analyzing and mapping data from legacy systems (e.g., CRM, custom databases) to D365 entities, ensuring data integrity and compatibility.
  • Proficiency in data cleansing, transformation, and validation, including identifying and resolving data quality issues (e.g., duplicates, inconsistencies) to meet D365 standards.
  • Strong understanding of D365 modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain), data models, entities, and relationships to support accurate data migration.
  • Experience with ETL processes and integration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Power Automate) for efficient data extraction and loading.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, align data mapping with business processes (e.g., retail, finance), and document specifications clearly.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power Query, SQL, Python) and familiarity with D365 Data Management Workspace or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills to troubleshoot discrepancies, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with business rules.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies and basic project management skills to track migration tasks and coordinate with teams or vendors.
  • The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
