Wayspring is seeking a Senior Data Integration Analyst to join our Data Platform team. This role is responsible for assisting in designing, building, and optimizing data integration pipelines and warehouse structures that support health plan data ingestion and downstream consumption. A core focus of this position is ensuring data quality, integrity, accuracy, and timeliness across all workflows, with particular emphasis on supporting healthcare quality initiatives such as HEDIS. The ideal candidate has experience working with healthcare data and understands how high-quality data underpins analytics, reporting, and operational systems. This role collaborates closely with internal teams and external health plan partners to ensure data integrations meet regulatory requirements, technical standards, and business needs.

Responsibilities of the Senior Data Integration Analyst

Quality/Technical

  • Ensures data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness across all ingestion and transformation workflows.
  • Implements data quality checks and validation processes aligned with healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supports initiatives related to quality measures (e.g., HEDIS) by ensuring accurate data capture and transformation.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains ETL/ELT processes to ingest health plan data from multiple sources into the enterprise data warehouse.

Client Facing, Internal and External

  • Works directly with health plan partners to explain requirements and specifications for data feeds, ensuring clear communication and successful integration.
  • Collaborates with architects and analysts to design scalable data models supporting health plan data and related domains.
  • Optimizes warehouse structures for performance and usability by downstream systems.
  • Partners with analytics, solutions, and engineering teams to enable data-driven insights and reporting.
  • Adheres to Wayspring information security and privacy requirements.

Requirements & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in health care data, with strong SQL and data warehousing expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Familiarity with healthcare data structures (claims, eligibility, provider data).
  • Knowledge of quality measures such as HEDIS and NCQA standards.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with a strong sense of curiosity.
  • Strong organization qualities and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in both technology and business environments.
  • Strong customer service and positive attitude.
