Hi! We're a fast-growing board game publisher with products like Ransom Notes (#1 Amazon Board game holiday 2023) and Abducktion (Mensa Award Winner 2024), with total sales of $17M+ in 2024.

We're seeking a sharp, data-savvy Growth & Performance Advertising Expert experienced in growing consumer product brands through smart, effective ad strategy. We’ve already grown quickly through significant Meta ad spend ($3.5M spent in 2024) and are looking someone to both scale this ad channel and find growth on others.

You’ll be directly responsible for paid acquisition—owning and directly managing daily Meta media buying and leading our experimentation and expansion across other paid media channels like Amazon, Youtube, and Tiktok.

This role will also encompass running brand awareness lift tests to measure halo effect impact in both retail (Walmart and Target) and on Amazon, as well as overseeing the continued improvement of our landing pages and post-purchase funnels.

This is a senior-level, high-impact role. You'll have real autonomy, a substantial budget to manage, and a direct line to leadership. You’ll be advertising bestselling products with a proven track record, work directly with our creative team to craft and test ad concepts, and even influence how we create new products specifically designed to sell on the paid channels you manage.

We're a small, fun team (just six people!) but we've grown rapidly over the past six years through smart ad spend, and we're ready to work with someone to take our products to the next level of growth. We're looking for a longterm, passionate team member with an experimental mindset, and we've built a profit-sharing role that compensates you the more you succeed.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Meta Media Buying

  • Directly manage and optimize all Meta ad spend (Facebook + Instagram) on a daily basis
  • Test and iterate on creative strategy in partnership with our internal and/or external creative team
  • Maintain deep and current knowledge of Meta platform mechanics, trends, and optimization techniques
  • Monitor and analyze daily performance data to continually improve ROAS and customer acquisition cost (both in-platform and through our external measurement tools)

Performance Advertising Beyond Meta

  • Lead the testing and scaling of additional paid channels including TikTok, Amazon DSP, YouTube, and Google
  • Manage external agencies or contractors when applicable, and hold them to performance standards
  • Identify new growth opportunities and design smart, data-driven experiments to evaluate potential

Ad Attribution + Lift Measurement

  • Design and analyze experiments to evaluate the impact of Meta ads on Amazon performance (“halo effect”)
  • Design and run incrementality tests to evaluate lift in retail channels and inform multi-channel ad strategy
  • Understand and utilize our internal data software to build dashboards, measure performance and find trends

Website Optimization & Email Marketing

  • Improve website conversion rates through A/B testing and landing page optimization
  • Manage our email marketing agency to refine flows and increase email-generated revenue

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Meta ad spend—ideally $5M+ annually—for a consumer brand with large e-commerce presence
  • Experience scaling products through other paid media channels like Amazon, Youtube, Tiktok, etc.
  • Proven ability to scale revenue and profit through aggressive, efficient marketing spend
  • Solid understanding of creative strategy and what makes thumb-stopping, converting ad content
  • Experience running multi-channel campaigns and experimenting with attribution/measurement models (experience in Google Looker Studio preferred)
  • Experience designing/running national lift experiments
  • Strategic, experimental thinker with strong analytical skills—you love diving into data to find an edge
  • Self-directed, reliable, and comfortable owning outcomes

We started this company in 2019 with just a single goofy party game, and quickly realized we could build a real business around casual and party board games through digital ad spend. We're now in Walmart, Target, and Barnes & Noble, and have an in-house team to create new, highly marketable games. We like to work hard, but believe in results over hours worked — we have a big emphasis on work-life balance, unlimited vacation time, and never track time worked.
