Financial Analyst

PrideStaff Financial is recruiting for a mission driven business who is searching for a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in guiding the company’s financial health by creating financial forecasts, identifying savings opportunities and ensuring financial obligations are met. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the accounting team to maintain accurate reporting, support strategic decisions and enable the company to grow responsibly and sustainably. The ideal Financial Analyst demonstrates excellent knowledge of financial business practices with 3-5 years of work experience and has used financial modeling software. The Financial Analyst is a full-time, temp to hire, position in Roseville, CA.

Financial Analyst Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Historical Financial Data, Prepare & Analyze Results, & Conduct Cost-Benefit Analysis
  • Develop a Financial Plan to Guide The Company’s Short Term & Long Term Fiscal Strategy
  • Prepare & Analyze Budgets, Forecasting Future Performance, & Identify Areas For cost Reductions
  • Compare Actual Results With Plans & Forecast to Identify & Explain Any Variances
  • Evaluate The Creditworthiness of Customers & Make Recommendations on Credit Limits
  • Communicate With Vendors & Leaders to Reduce Liabilities & Maintain Cash Flow
  • Identify & Mitigate Financial Risks Across The Business
  • Develop Business Cases to Support Pricing Decisions & Investment Opportunities

Financial Analyst Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related
  • MBA or CPA is a Plus
  • 3-5 Years of Experience in a Similar Role
  • Proficient With Quickbooks & MS Office Including Excel
  • Proficient in Using Financial Modeling Software & Techniques
  • Analytical Ability to Analyze Data, Identify Trends, & Draw Conclusions
  • Ability to Clearly Communicate Findings & Recommendations to Both Technical & Non-Technical Audiences
