Purpose & Scope

Support financial activities for a designated business area with a focus on accuracy, timely execution, and data integrity.
Provide essential analysis and reporting to senior Business Controllers and business leaders.
Collaborate with finance functions to ensure consistent processes, clear communication, and reliable service delivery.

Responsibilities

Assist with budgeting and forecasting by gathering inputs, preparing templates, and updating models.
Ensure data accuracy and alignment with business assumptions under guidance from senior finance colleagues.
Track financial results and compare performance to plan/forecast
Conduct initial variance analysis and flag key issues or trends for review.
Prepare supporting schedules for monthly and quarterly reviews.
Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and management summaries.
Maintain reporting files and ensure quality, timeliness, and completeness in submissions to Corporate.
Provide data, analyses, and insights to business leaders on requests
Participate in discussions by supplying clear and reliable financial information.
Support initiatives and projects led by senior Business Controllers.

Skills & Competencies

Foundational understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis techniques.
Ability to work with financial data, identify basic trends, and summarize findings clearly.
Able to communicate financial information in a straightforward and clear manner. Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across functions.
Strong team orientation; works effectively with other colleagues
Growing understanding of the designated business area and its financial drivers.
