I'm partnering with a leading Energy and Utilities Provider based in Austin, TX, seeking a Financial Analyst to support its growing operations. Core Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term financial models, capital expenditure forecasts, and debt service plans
  • Support cash management strategy and manage investments in compliance with governance policies
  • Prepare and deliver financial reporting for management, shareholders, noteholders, and regulatory agencies
  • Analyze financial trends, variances, and performance to support business decisions
  • Support the operating and capital budgeting process by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Assist in scenario planning, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, financial systems optimization, and documentation of financial procedures
  • Lead or support special projects assigned by the Director of Finance or senior leadership

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial modeling, reporting, cash management, and budgeting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Oracle e-Business Suite or similar ERP preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP; utility or regulated industry experience is a plus
  • A proactive mindset, with a passion for data integrity and financial accuracy
