Financial Analyst II – Sales & Marketing Support

Location: Knoxville, TN

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support our Demand organization, which includes Sales and Marketing teams. This role is critical in providing financial insights, modeling scenarios, and driving data-based decision-making across strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate on a designated Business Team and collaborate with Brand Teams.
• Prepare and analyze month-end financial data (profitability reports, shipment data, market share, trade spending).
• Model P&L scenarios for M& A work, customer investments and new item evaluations.
• Assist with quarterly forecasting and annual sales budget exercises, including pricing and trade promotion spending.
• Capture financial results and projections for annual Marketing Reviews and Plans.
• Analyze monthly shipments, market share changes, and trade spending.
• Participate in strategic initiatives such as pricing work and S&OP discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field .
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or related role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a feedback-rich, team-based environment.
