We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic FP&A team within a fast-paced Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) franchising environment. This role is instrumental in delivering key financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving performance improvements across our franchise network. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to communicate complex financial information with clarity and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pricing & Costing Analysis

• Analyze product pricing, food & beverage costs and ensure competitiveness across franchise locations.

• Evaluate production cost, labor & overhead structures to ensure plant profitability

• Support pricing strategy decisions with data-backed recommendations.

2. Franchise Performance Reporting

• Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports across franchise locations.

• Analyze trends, variances, and key drivers affecting franchise sales and operational performance.

• Highlight risks and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.

3. KPI Monitoring & Reporting

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, margin, labor efficiency, and customer metrics.

• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate management reports, including variance analysis to support strategic decision-making

• Support in the month-end and quarter-end close processes/reports by preparing variance analysis to creating financial deck for presentation

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead and support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for franchise sales and P&L’s

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure accurate projections.

• Contribute to the development of the 3-year long-term financial plan by providing data-driven insights and financial modeling

5. Corporate P&L Management

• Support the preparation and review of the corporate profit and loss (P&L) statements.

• Analyze performance against targets and prior periods.

• Assist in the development of strategies to improve profitability.

6. Process & System Optimization

• Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes and improve system efficiency.

• Partner with IT and other departments to implement automation and improve data integrity.

• Champion best practices in financial analysis and reporting.

7. Ad Hoc Projects & Strategic Analysis

• Support strategic initiatives, promotional analysis, menu optimization, and operational improvements.

• Provide financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case development for special projects.

• Assist leadership with data-driven decision support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Economics (MBA or CPA/CFA is a plus).

• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the QSR, Retail, or Franchising Industry.

• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting & pricing

• Proficiency and power user of Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.

• Demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills, supported by

strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
