As a Financial Analyst III, you will lead financial planning, forecasting and management reporting processes, including the analysis and reporting of actual and forecasted financial results. You will be a specialist in your field as you collaborate with others to support and understand financial forecast drivers. This role requires alternative analysis, creativity and good judgment!

This newly created Financial Planning & Analysis team supports multiple functions under one center led structure. Our mission is to improve expense forecasting, drive cost discipline, enable data-driven decisions, and accelerate innovation through automation and AI by partnering across teams and simplifying workflows. Financial Analyst III

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Prepares reports, forecasts, presentations and other analyses as the need arises
  • Nurtures relationships with company partners
  • Identifies, researches and recommends solutions, including process improvement initiatives
  • Coordinates and understands forecast components and performs/documents financial analysis to validate forecast data
  • Communicates details assumptions and explains variances
  • Analyzes and explains financial results compared to forecast
  • Coordinates annual strategic and vision planning activities, including operating and capital plan forecasting
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and minimum four (4) years’ related experience in financial analysis
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or CPA

Other Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Previous experience collaborating with senior leadership and reporting financial analysis

Financial Analyst II

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and minimum two (2) years’ related experience in financial analysis and forecasting
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration
  • Preferred: CPA

Other Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Knowledge of Hyperion tools including Essbase and Smartview
  • Knowledge of midstream gas gathering and processing and/or regulated interstate pipeline transportation
  • Previous experience collaborating with and reporting financial analysis to senior leadership

, Responsible for contributing to financial analytic efforts by analyzing business cases and related financial models pertaining to major capital projects, supporting the annual capital budgeting process and strategic efforts, performing financial and strategic analysis, and researching as well as preparing studies and reports, analyses, and or recommendation in areas such as capital budgeting, financial forecasting, monthly activities, depreciation methods, and accounting for capital investments. Works under limited supervision performing a wide spectrum of moderately difficult assignments requiring alternative analysis, innovation and judgment.
