Role Overview

As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by delivering meaningful financial analysis and insights. You will manage and improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, helping the organization meet financial objectives. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys using financial data to influence business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support business strategies and scenario planning.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports.
  • Partner with business units to support cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Support senior leadership with data-driven recommendations and insights.
  • Continuously improve reporting tools, processes, and financial methodologies.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA an asset).
  • 2–5 years of experience in FP&A or financial management.
  • Strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
  • Proven ability to interpret financial data to advise business decisions.
  • Experience within consumer product or manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting insights to leadership.
  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
