Position Overview

Vectair is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst located in the Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area to join our Global Finance team. This role will report to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and work closely with finance, sales, and operational colleagues to evaluate data and provide insights into our business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support annual budget planning processes
  • Analyze variances between actual, prior year, and budget, identifying key drivers
  • Develop financial models to support business decisions and scenario analysis
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports
  • Assist in Maintenance of our CRM tool
  • Support pricing analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers
  • Support management with data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting processes and tools
  • Prepare Joint Business Review data packs
  • Market data research preparation and submissions
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
  • Build and maintain basic financial models and spreadsheets
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects
  • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
  • Respond to routine data requests from business teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in FP&A, or a corporate accounting position looking to move into FP&A
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with multiple regions, currencies, and time zones
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, FPAC, CGMA or similar designation
