Note: This is a supervised, entry-level student placement designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in financial analytics.

The Junior Data Analyst will support the team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assist with business and operational decision-making. This role provides hands-on experience with data analysis tools, reporting, and real-world datasets within the energy and trading environment.

This placement directly supports the student’s academic studies in data analytics, computer science, or business analytics by providing practical, hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, and visualization. The role allows the student to apply theoretical concepts such as data cleaning, statistical analysis, and data interpretation in a real-world business environment. Additionally, the position helps develop technical skills in tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms, while strengthening analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills essential for a career in data analytics.
