ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Analyst supports the organization through data-driven analysis of market trends, product performance, and pricing strategies. This role provides actionable insight to support strategic decision making.

 skills And Abilities Required

  • Analyze market trends, customer activity, sales performance, and competitive data to support strategic business decisions.
  • Manage point-of-sale reporting to support vendor relationships, collaborating with sales and product management to highlight actionable analysis of product trends
  • Support product lifecycle analysis, including product performance, market positioning, and growth opportunities.
  • Assist in pricing analysis, margin reviews, and profitability evaluations to support marketing initiatives.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to track key performance indicators and marketing goals.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and present findings to leadership.
  • Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities by identifying issues and recommending effective solutions in a timely manner.

Computer Equipment And Software Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
  • Experience working with databases and large data sets.
  • Experience with business intelligence and analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred).
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.

Education And Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing Analytics, or a related field OR
  • 3+ years of experience in business analytics or data management
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • High level of proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
