Position Summary
The Marketing Data Analyst ensures that Marketing and Sales teams have clean, reliable data to drive smarter lead management, campaign execution, and pipeline visibility. This role designs lead routing processes, maintains data integrity across CRM and marketing platforms, and develops reporting that highlights performance and campaign ROI. By leveraging automation, enrichment tools, and analytics, the analyst enables accurate targeting, efficient handoffs, and actionable insights that support growth. While the primary platform is Microsoft Dynamics 365, the role requires a broad understanding of marketing operations systems and data flows.
This is a remote opportunity unless residing in the Mesa, AZ area, in which case it will be hybrid (in-office three days per week).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Design and maintain lead assignment rules, routing by territory, segment, account ownership, and custom priorities from senior sales leaders.
· Build automated processes that enrich, deduplicate, and streamline lead flow, ensuring clean and actionable data for campaigns.
· Ensure CRM and marketing tools share consistent, reliable data to support campaign targeting and sales alignment.
· Maintain standards for UTM tracking, campaign mapping, and form capture to enable accurate attribution and ROI analysis.
· Define and enforce data standards, maintain data integrity, and run enrichment processes to ensure a trusted marketing database.
· Maintain lead lifecycle and funnel stages, including entry and exit criteria, SLA timers, and alerts.
· Develop dashboards and reports that highlight lead velocity, funnel conversion, campaign ROI, and attribution insights for leadership.
· Partner with demand generation teams to ensure campaigns (emails, landing pages, events, etc.) feed clean, structured data into CRM.
· Train Marketing and Sales teams on new processes and reports; create quick guides and short videos, troubleshoot issues fast, log root causes, and prevent repeats.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Engagement (CE), including configuration and customization.
· Proven ability to design and manage lead routing logic and lifecycle stages across marketing and sales systems.
· Skilled in using automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) to streamline lead management and campaign workflows.
· Experience with ClickDimensions or a comparable marketing automation platform integrated with Dynamics.
· Familiarity with data enrichment tools such as ZoomInfo for lead and account enhancement.
· Strong analytical skills with Excel, SQL, or Power BI for data audits, reporting, and performance analysis.
· Experience developing KPI dashboards that provide visibility into pipeline, funnel conversion, and campaign ROI.
· Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and deliver effective training.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
· B2B marketing operations in a multi-office or multi-territory environment.
· Experience with attribution modeling and campaign influence reporting.
· Understanding of territory management and account assignment logic.
· Knowledge of Power BI report development and basic JavaScript for form and field behavior.
· Experience collaborating with web teams on form capture and tag management.
