The Product Business Analyst Internship is a structured, hands-on program for motivated college students who want to explore a career in product management before graduating. Over 2–3 months, interns will rotate through key areas of the business — such as Marketing, Underwriting, and Pricing — gaining firsthand exposure to how our products, processes, and people are interconnected. Interns who complete the program and demonstrate strong performance may receive preference for the full-time Product Business Analyst Rotational Program upon graduation. Those who are hired full-time will complete a fast tracked 3-month rotation before entering the promotion pathway to Associate Product Manager.
Program Structure
The internship is designed around 2–3 focused rotational stops, each lasting approximately 3–4 weeks. Each stop is paired with a specific learning objective: to help you understand how product decisions ripple across the business — and how change affects both employees and customers.
Who Should Apply
We value intellectual curiosity above all, and we are looking for someone who asks great questions, applies analytics and AI tools thoughtfully, is not afraid to challenge assumptions, and is eager to learn from every part of the business. This internship is designed for current college students pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field — ideally in their junior or senior year — who see a complex, data-rich industry as an exciting place to build a career.
Key Responsibilities
During your internship, you will be an active contributor in each rotation — not a passive observer. You will embed with each team, take on real work, and develop a working understanding of how that area of the business operates and how it connects to the product. Across all rotations, you will build skills in stakeholder collaboration and data-driven thinking. You will document your learnings and synthesize insights throughout the program. At the conclusion of the internship, you will deliver a capstone presentation to Pricing and Product leadership — sharing your cross-functional perspective on the business and your readiness to join the team full-time.
Key Qualifications
What We Offer
How Are You Evaluated
Your growth will be evaluated at the end of each rotation and at the conclusion of the internship. At the close of every rotation, you will receive structured feedback from your rotation manager covering your contributions, adaptability, and ability to build relationships across the team. At the conclusion of the program, you will be evaluated on the quality of your capstone presentation, your business understanding, and your readiness to join the team as a full-time analyst. A full-time offer is the expected outcome for strong performers — those who demonstrate curiosity, collaboration, and a clear ability to connect the dots across the business.
Full-Time Hire Pathway
Interns who receive and accept a full-time offer will enter the Product Business Analyst Rotational Program after graduation. Because of their internship experience, full-time hires complete an accelerated version of the program.
In-Office Requirements
This role is eligible to be fully remote, in approved Elephant states. There is no requirement to come to the office for any amount of time now or in the future.
