Project Accounting / Cost Analyst

Are you a numbers-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced project environments? Join a leading organization downtown as a Project Accounting / Cost Analyst for a 1-year contract starting this December!
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in tracking, reporting, and forecasting project costs across large-scale capital initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with finance, engineering, and project teams to keep budgets accurate, invoices compliant, and reporting seamless.
What You’ll Do:
Manage project cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
Review invoices, payments, and accruals for accuracy
Partner with project managers and engineers to align budgets
Support month-end close and financial reporting
Help optimize project accounting processes
What You Bring:
5+ years in project accounting or cost control (construction, mining, or engineering)
Solid understanding of project lifecycles and cost reporting
ERP experience (SAP, JD Edwards, or similar; Unifier an asset)
CPA designation (or in progress)
Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail
