Position Overview
As a Senior Analyst of Insights at Blaze Pizza, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our use of customer data to drive the business. This role combines customer and product analysis, campaign reporting and the activation of our customer data platform. You will report to the VP of Finance & Insights.
This role is ideal for the data-driven, curious, and collaborative eager to make a measurable impact on Blaze Pizza’s marketing strategy and guest experience, drawing on best-in-class practices in marketing analytics and from industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret marketing campaign performance across paid (Google Analytics + agency reporting) and owned channels (email, SMS, app, web), utilizing insights to optimize channel effectiveness and outcomes.
- Use a test-and-learn approach, drawing on best practices.
- Evaluate product performance and customer behaviors using point-of-sale, loyalty, and web analytics data to inform menu strategy, promotional planning, and guest experience enhancements.
- KPI focuses on improving customer lifetime value and retention.
- Build and refine customer segments using advanced analytics, supporting targeted marketing initiatives and personalized communications.
- Emphasize evidence-based recommendations and experimentation.
- Oversee the activation of customer data within the CDP, ensuring data is leveraged effectively across channels.
- Partner with marketing, technology, finance, and operations teams to align analytics with business objectives and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Transform complex data into actionable, compelling narratives for stakeholders using stories, visuals, and clear language to drive business decisions.
Ideal candidate Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Finance or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related field (restaurant, retail, or franchise experience is a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and customer data management best practices.
- Strong communication, project management and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, curiosity, and attention to detail.

Other Requirements:
· Able to work in the office on average 4.5 days a week.
