Context

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst in Risk Management to join our team. The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across multiple business lines, ensuring that risk frameworks and assessment processes are robust, reliable, and aligned with industry standards. You will work closely with internal teams including Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, and IT to develop and maintain risk assessment methodologies, manage risk inventories, and coordinate global risk assessment exercises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure risk identification and assessment processes are based on sound and reliable frameworks.
  • Oversee adherence to methodologies, guidelines, and standards applicable to risk assessment.
  • Develop and implement methodologies to aggregate identified risks and assess risk profiles across business lines.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual global Risk Assessment process.
  • Maintain risk inventories, taxonomies, and other tools supporting risk identification and assessment.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to design, implement, and test risk management solutions.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry (banking, asset management, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of risk identification and assessment processes across Market, Credit, and/or Non-Financial Risks.
  • Experience managing global risk assessments across multiple business lines.
  • Familiarity with risk frameworks, governance standards, and risk taxonomies.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to risk management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and present insights clearly.
