At Henny Penny, we’re 100% employee-owned — which means when you do great work here, you’re building something that’s literally yours. We manufacture commercial foodservice equipment trusted by some of the world’s most recognized brands, including McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, Wendy’s, Kroger, and Sam’s Club.
As our Senior Financial Analyst, you won’t just report the numbers; you’ll shape the strategy behind them. You’ll be a trusted partner to operations and senior leadership, turning complex data into decisions that move our business forward — and you’ll own a piece of every success you help create.

What You’ll Do
Your work will span three interconnected areas — financial planning and analysis, manufacturing partnership, and systems improvement. Here’s what that looks like day to day:
Financial Planning & Analysis

- Build financial models for business cases, including ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analysis.
- Oversee capital expenditures and conduct post-investment performance audits.
- Analyze monthly results, identify trends and variances, and recommend corrective action.
- Support business leaders in understanding cost drivers and key performance metrics.
- Present findings directly to senior leadership, backed by advanced analysis, benchmarking, and best practices.
- Lead or contribute to special projects as strategic priorities evolve.
Manufacturing Partnership
- Develop and manage operational budgets and projections in close collaboration with manufacturing leaders.
- Attend production meetings and Gemba walks, providing data-driven insights that fuel continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels and turns to identify optimization opportunities.
- Partner with operations to drive improvements in key cost drivers.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development and process improvement.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Leverage ERP and financial systems to streamline reporting and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy and scale.
- Stay current on industry trends and translate them into insights that shape business decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); MBA or CPA a plus.
- 5+ years of FP&A, accounting, or auditing experience, with manufacturing exposure preferred.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills — you’re comfortable building from scratch.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (JDE, SAP, or Oracle).
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
- Excellent communicator who can simplify complex financial topics for any audience.
- High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Comfortable building relationships and presenting to executive-level leaders.
We know the ideal candidate may not check every single box. If you’re strong in most of these areas and excited about what we’re building here, we’d love to hear from you.
