We’re partnering with a well-established real estate investment company in Toronto that’s looking for a strong Senior Financial Analyst to join their corporate finance team on-site, 5 days/week.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex reporting, consolidations, IFRS, investment onboarding, and collaborating across finance, capital markets, and portfolio teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior/offshore staff and support process improvements across the group.
Salary: $95K–$100K + bonus
Location: Toronto (on-site, downtown)
Experience: CPA (or in progress) + 3+ years across public accounting and industry
Assets: IFRS, consolidations, real estate exposure, audit background

Senior Financial Analyst
Toronto, ON – Onsite (5 days/week)
$95,000–$100,000 base + bonus + excellent benefits
Our client, a leading global real estate investment firm, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Finance team. This role supports financial reporting across a growing North American portfolio, including consolidations, IFRS reporting, investment onboarding, liquidity planning, and audit coordination. You will also mentor and manage an offshore team of finance professionals.
This position is well-suited for someone with a strong public accounting foundation who is looking to step into a technical, high-visibility role within a sophisticated investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Review monthly reporting packages from third-party operators
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding of investments, including fund flows, closing statements, and purchase price allocations
• Improve intercompany confirmation and reconciliation processes
• Prepare IFRS financial packages, lender reports, and performance deliverables
• Manage internal SOX testing and external audits
• Consolidate and analyze quarterly reforecasts and annual 3-statement business plans
• Monitor liquidity and assess capital needs with portfolio management
• Support financing and refinancing initiatives
• Train, mentor, and guide an offshore finance team
What You Bring
• At least 3+ years of progressive experience combining public accounting and industry; real estate experience is considered an asset
• Audit firm experience
• Strong technical understanding of IFRS accounting and consolidations
• CPA designation required
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Advanced Excel; experience with Dynamics, Yardi, or OneStream is an asset
