We’re looking for a Senior Research / Data Analyst to lead customer research and advanced data analysis initiatives that directly inform business strategy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear insights, mentoring others, and partnering with stakeholders across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Lead the design, execution, and analysis of customer research studies, including surveys, focus groups, and market research initiatives
Perform advanced statistical analysis using tools such as SAS and/or SPSS
Manage ongoing customer satisfaction and transaction reporting for residential and commercial customers
Design and validate surveys to ensure accuracy, reliability, and business relevance
Translate complex findings into clear, compelling insights for business and leadership audiences
Mentor and advise analysts on research design, analytics, and presentation best practices
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support research and evaluation efforts
Support regulatory and information requests with accurate, well-documented analysis
Contribute to emergency response and business continuity initiatives as needed
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience in data analysis, research, or analytics-driven roles
Strong expertise in SAS and/or SPSS, including the ability to train others
Deep understanding of survey design, statistical analysis, and data validation
Experience working with large, complex datasets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
Background in customer research, market research, or program evaluation
Advanced degree in statistics, economics, marketing, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
