About the Role

The Senior FP&A Analyst plays a key role in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support business decision-making. This role partners cross-functionally with department leaders to provide insights into financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and help drive operational efficiency and growth. NOTE: this is an onsite position in Irvine, CA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 4–7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting.

Required Skills

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive, Anaplan) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or sports apparel industry preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in a Private Equity backed environment.
• Experience working in a multi-country environment (MX preferred).
• Spanish language skills highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across departments.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Analyze financial results, variances, and trends; provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Partner with business units to track performance against targets and KPIs.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages.
• Support long-range planning and scenario analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and data accuracy.
• Support the Sales organization with the analysis and processing of commission payments on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Manage the pricing analysis for all Score products.
• Assist with board presentations and executive-level reporting.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between financial reporting and forecasts.

Pay range and compensation package

Score Sports offers competitive pay and benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K. Base salary range is $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.
