Betterworks is on a journey to transform how HR technology buyers think about goal setting, performance management, and employee engagement. We support some of the world’s largest enterprises in goal setting and performance enablement, and we’ve only just begun.

About Betterworks

Betterworks is HR software to align, develop, and activate your workforce for business growth. Organizations are able to replace outdated, ineffective, universally loathed annual review processes with powerful Continuous Performance Management programs that help managers be better at the conversations, coaching, and development necessary to inspire and motivate the entire workforce to achieve an organization's top priorities today and be ready for tomorrow's challenges.

At Betterworks, we believe everyone deserves to work where they feel valued, respected, and supported. Our solutions are designed to help HR professionals create a more people-centric workplace, where employees can thrive and businesses can succeed.

We are hiring a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead product positioning and messaging, support revenue generation, and tell the Betterworks story to the market. This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of product management, marketing, sales, customer success, and executive leadership. You will help define what makes Betterworks different and why it matters.

You will be directly responsible for developing compelling narratives and content across the buyer journey, leading product launches, engaging analysts, and equipping go-to-market teams with the tools to succeed. You will also manage one direct report with room to grow over time and partner closely with our new VP of Revenue Marketing to ensure alignment between messaging, campaigns, content, and field activation.

This is a high-impact role for someone who loves driving clarity, crafting great stories, and making a measurable difference in a fast-moving environment.

3. Market Intelligence & Analyst Relations

  • Monitor and respond to competitive shifts; equip field teams with differentiation guidance.
  • Partner with key analysts (IDC, Forrester, Fosway, etc.) to strengthen our position in the HR tech landscape.
  • Shape Betterworks’ thought leadership and category creation efforts.

Partnership with Revenue Marketing

  • You will work in lockstep with our VP of Revenue Marketing to ensure that product messaging flows seamlessly into campaigns, content, regional events, and ABM strategies. Together, you'll bring greater alignment between what we say, what we build, and how we go to.

Partnership with Product Management

  • You will be the closest marketing partner to our Head of Product Management—aligning on roadmap priorities, market feedback, and messaging strategy. Your ability to balance technical understanding with commercial storytelling will ensure that our launches are not only timely but meaningful to customers and disruptive to the category.
