Technical Business Systems Analyst (Enrollment / EDI)

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst to support enrollment processing initiatives within a healthcare insurance environment. This role focuses on ANSI 834 EDI enrollment processing, data movement, and system integrations. The ideal candidate has hands on experience supporting enrollment workflows and works closely with technical delivery teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support group portal and benefit plan enrollment processing
• Analyze and document technical requirements related to enrollment workflows and data movement
• Author detailed technical specification documentation for system integrations and enhancements
• Partner with development and integration teams to deliver enrollment solutions
• Support ANSI 834 EDI file processing, validations, and troubleshooting
• Support web services and API integrations tied to enrollment processing
• Validate enrollment data and investigate file transfer or processing issues
• Facilitate working sessions with business and technical stakeholders
• Participate in Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement and sprint planning

Required Experience

• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience in healthcare or insurance
• Strong hands on experience with enrollment and benefit plan processing
• Direct experience supporting ANSI 834 EDI enrollment files
• Experience with web services and API integrations
• Experience writing technical specifications
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Basic SQL skills for data validation
• Strong understanding of data movement across systems
• Must reside in PA, NJ, or DE.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule, with 3 days per week in the office in Philadelphia.
