We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Trade Market Analyst in our Trade Marketing Department at our Leamington facility.

What You'll Do:

• Market Research:
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes within the produce industry for specific retail initiatives.
• Data Analysis:
• Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze sales data, market share, and performance metrics.
• Generate insights to assess the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and identify opportunities for growth.
• Promotions Analysis:
• Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to assess the performance of past promotions and evaluate their impact on sales, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
• Generate insights to inform future promotional strategies.
• Competitor Analysis:
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for differentiation.
• Provide recommendations to enhance competitive positioning and market share.
• Price Monitoring and Optimization:
• Analyze pricing dynamics and market trends to optimize pricing strategies for maximum profitability and competitiveness.
• Monitor pricing changes in the market and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align trade marketing efforts with business objectives.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.

What You Bring:

• Post secondary education in business, analytics or other related disciplines required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
• Exceptional communication abilities, active listening skills and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain respectful relationships at all levels within and outside the organization.
• Proficiency in working with computers and software programs, specifically ERP, KPI Portals and Microsoft Office more specifically Excel and Nav.
• Ability to identify issues and problem solve independently using appropriate resources internally and externally.
• Displays strong initiative and able to work independently with little direction, within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Team player with a high level of dedication.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines; and ensure timely follow-up.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment, some independent work.
• Ability to work in a fast environment by multitasking and prioritizing work while being attentive to details and quality.
• Must be strong with follow through as many tasks require constant follow-up.
• Very high degree of confidentiality and integrity required regarding all aspects of the business.
• Valid passport with the ability to travel to the U.S. or internationally as required.
• A valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle are required as needed.

What To Expect:

• Office setting - walking, sitting, and standing throughout the day.
• Works Monday-Friday. Hours may fluctuate according to business needs. May be required to work after hours as needed.
