About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated early-career professional to join a growing, dynamic firm. Ideal for a recent graduate or candidate with 1–2 years of experience (or strong internship exposure), this role offers hands-on experience across core accounting functions with a clear growth path into Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

The Accounting Analyst will play a key role in month-end close, financial operations, and process improvement, while gradually expanding into financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting as the company scales. We’re looking for someone with a strong accounting foundation, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Month-End Close (Primary Focus)

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support a timely, accurate month-end close
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing review, and cash management
  • Support preparation of internal financial statements and management reporting

Growth Path into FP&A

  • Support KPI tracking, dashboards, and recurring management reports
  • Assist in building forecasts and financial models as experience grows
  • Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and operational metrics
  • Contribute to data-driven decision-making as automation and team growth shift focus toward FP&A initiatives

Systems, Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Support

  • Work across financial systems including NetSuite, Ramp, Numeric, Paylocity, Power BI, and internal tools
  • Troubleshoot data issues, perform data quality checks, and help maintain system integrations
  • Support automation and workflow improvements across close, invoicing, reporting, and compliance
  • Build and maintain documentation, SOPs, and process maps to help scale financial operations
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, HR, and Operations to gather and validate financial and operational data
  • Provide operational support such as payroll or onboarding data checks
  • Assist with ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects typical of a lean, high-growth organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience or strong internship experience
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, evolving environment

Why This Role

  • Broad exposure to accounting, finance operations, and FP&A
  • Clear development path into financial analysis and strategic finance
  • Opportunity to work closely with leadership in a growing organization
  • Hands-on experience with modern financial systems and automation
