Business Analyst

📈 I’m hashtag#hiring for a Business Analyst on the GM FP&A team at Kroger, and my ask is very specific: 🧠

I need someone who can build Power BI reports from scratch and who is comfortable operating in ambiguity.
If you’re invited to interview, you should expect a live Power BI exercise where you’ll:
- 🛠️ Build a report in real time
- 📈 Model the data and write basic–intermediate DAX
- 📢 Talk through your assumptions, tradeoffs, and approach as you go

This role is for you if: 🦄
- You’re strong in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visuals, automation)
- You can take messy, incomplete, or unclear business questions and shape them into structured analysis and reporting
- You enjoy working across Finance, Planning, Merchandising, and Digital to create a single source of truth
- You can translate complex data into clear visuals and narratives for executives

Core skills we’re targeting:
- Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot)
- Retail/merchandising analytics (sales, margin, inventory, assortment productivity, trips, stores, digital KPIs)
- Strong data storytelling and comfort presenting to leadership
