Position: Business Analyst IV – Finance Operations

Location: 43 Champlain Street (477 Paul St.), Dieppe, New Brunswick (Hybrid – 4 days onsite starting November)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst IV to provide process improvement support and day-to-day business analysis for the Finance Operations Leadership team. This role involves BAU tasks, issue resolution, and user support on the ARCS and Oracle platforms, while also contributing to reporting and process enhancement initiatives.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team of 6 (including the manager) and will have direct exposure to financial systems, month-end processes, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support BAU activities, including ticket resolution, mapping, and user issue troubleshooting.
• Provide month-end support during peak cycles (including some weekend coverage).
• Partner with stakeholders (30–40% of the role) to document requirements and support process improvements.
• Work on data analysis, reporting, and dashboards using Power BI.
• Leverage technical expertise (scripts, Oracle, ARCS) to identify and implement solutions.
• Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables and contribute to operational efficiency.

Must-Have Skills

1. Strong technical background with excellent troubleshooting ability
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
3. Power BI experience (3–4 years)
4. Scripting knowledge (3–4 years)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• ARCS platform experience (1+ year)
• Oracle platform experience
• Prior leadership/team lead experience
