SHOP Development is seeking a junior level Financial Analyst to join our real estate team. The successful candidate will be an important member of the team and support all aspects of our real estate investment platform. The job will include underwriting new investment opportunities (acquisition and development) and asset management of existing investments.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial models to facilitate development, acquisition and disposition investment decisions
  • Providing in-depth financial analysis of potential real estate capital structures
  • Tracking and reporting information relevant to existing real estate investments
  • Providing advanced analytic support to senior members of the team
  • Preparing internal & external investment memoranda and other presentation materials
  • Communicating the status of ongoing projects, financial results and performance metrics to all pertinent stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate business program majoring in Real Estate and/or Finance is preferred.
  • 2-3 years experience in real estate investments or finance
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated analytical ability
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills
