JOB PURPOSE

The Financial Analyst is responsible for building, maintaining, and automating financial and operational reporting that supports executive decision-making. This role focuses on data integrity, KPI reporting, provider utilization analytics, and budget-to-actual performance tracking across multiple clinic locations. The Financial Analyst partners closely with the CFO and department leaders to deliver accurate, actionable insights that drive growth and operational improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Build and maintain recurring financial and operational reports, including weekly KPI dashboards and monthly reporting packages.
  • Develop and automate reporting processes using advanced Excel and Power Query.
  • Extract, reconcile, and normalize data from multiple systems including EMR, billing, and accounting platforms.
  • Support budget to actual analysis and provide clear variance explanations.
  • Analyze provider productivity, utilization, scheduling trends, and appointment patterns.
  • Support development of forecasting models, including daily, weekly, and monthly revenue projections.
  • Maintain data mapping tables and ensure consistency across reporting categories.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation improvements.
  • Document workflows and reporting procedures to ensure repeatability and continuity.
  • Assist with special projects including system implementations and financial process redesign.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this role.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or data analytics
  • Advanced Excel skills required. Strong experience with Power Query required
  • Experience building automated reporting and dashboards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, concise summaries for leadership.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
