Financial Analyst

This is a 6 month contract with permanent potential

About the Opportunity

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close support
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
• Investigate and correct discrepancies/irregularities in financial entries, documents and reports
• Administer payroll end-to-end, ensure accurate calculations, remittances, and employee data maintenance
• Act as an ERP power user to support configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and process improvements
• Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and compliance requirements

About You

• 2-5 years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• 1+ year processing payroll
• Strong knowledge of Epicor software or other ERP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• CPA or CMA designation is a plus
