Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst – Accounting

Location: New York, NY 10065

Shift: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (60-minute break)

Duration: 15-week contract with strong possibility of extension

Pay range: $32-39/hr.

Job Duties:

• Manage and oversee budgets for all IT-related expenses within assigned departments.
• Monitor financial controls and ensure alignment with approved budget allocations.
• Handle contract renewals, accruals, and invoice processing against budgeted lines.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and reporting using advanced Excel functions.
• Support reimbursement methodologies, budgeting processes, and cost accounting activities.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance.

Job Requirements:

• 3–5 years of Financial Management experience (healthcare experience not required).
• Strong experience with budgeting, financial controls, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of reimbursement methodologies, budgeting, and cost accounting (required).
• Must be highly proficient in Excel (advanced level required).
• Lawson experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple financial processes, including accruals and invoice reconciliation.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
