Kevin Wong with Robert Half is looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Fairview, Oregon. This role is ideal for someone who excels in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting, with a focus on supporting IT operations and vendor management. The position requires collaboration across departments to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the global annual budgets and rolling forecasts for the IT department.

• Analyze financial variances by comparing actual spending to budgets and providing actionable recommendations.

• Facilitate standardized budgeting processes and financial tools across IT cost centers worldwide.

• Monitor and evaluate IT expenses related to hardware, software, cloud services, and vendor contracts to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Verify invoices for accuracy and implement automation initiatives for procurement and billing processes.

• Assist in the procurement and renewal of IT contracts and licenses while ensuring vendor compliance and performance standards.

• Collaborate with legal and relevant teams to maintain consistent contract templates and documentation.

• Create dashboards and visualizations to present financial trends and insights to leadership and stakeholders.

• Support project managers in tracking budgets, allocating resources, and ensuring financial alignment with project goals.

• Partner with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, and regional leaders to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.

• Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling.
• Strong skills in variance analysis and ad hoc financial reporting.
• Proficiency in data mining techniques to extract and analyze relevant financial information.
• Familiarity with IT cost structures including hardware, software, cloud services, and licensing.
• Experience in vendor management, including contract evaluation and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to create financial dashboards and visual presentations to communicate insights.
• Excellent collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional teams and external service providers.
• Knowledge of modern licensing models and cloud consumption optimization strategies.
