Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst provides essential support for hospital reimbursement, net revenue, and productivity initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Reporting & Compliance: Compile and maintain records for hospital DSH programs, bad debt logs, Accounts Receivable contractual allowances, and annual Cost Reports.
- Data Analytics: Create and execute patient detail reports to perform deep-dive data analytics with a focus on financial impacts and future projections.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Manager of Revenue Integrity, Senior Financial Analysts, and the Decision Support team on various ad hoc projects.
- Operational Support: Ensure financial data integrity to support long-term fiscal planning and organizational stability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting within a hospital or health system setting (Required).
