Financial Analyst - Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales, customer, and product performance data across channels and categories to identify trends, variances, and growth opportunities
  • Create and distribute clear, concise sales reports and dashboards that support decision-making across leadership and sales teams
  • Aggregate and analyze retailer POS and retail inventory data to support accurate demand planning and forecasting
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance to support annual revenue planning and customer forecasts
  • Manage sales performance reporting, including outbound sales productivity and compensation tracking
  • Monitor and report on sales quota attainment by rep, account, and channel; highlight performance gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with IT to automate recurring reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI
  • Build financial and sales models that evaluate program profitability and forecast customer demand
  • Support ad-hoc analytical needs to drive business agility and strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a Sales, Business, or Financial Analyst role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong ability to work with large, complex datasets
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly to a range of audiences
  • Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, and data visualization tools preferred
  • Excel modeling experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
