Your Impact

  • Implement and execute project controls plans to support contractual obligations across diverse projects.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of planned value, actual cost, earned value, and schedule performance.
  • Support the development of baseline budgets and work breakdown structures to manage project hours and expenditures.
  • Identify variances and recommend corrective actions to reduce cost, schedule, or performance risks.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports, invoicing packages, and forecast accruals to support strong financial project performance.
  • Assist in building reporting packages for project managers, leadership, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Contribute to cost plans, quality plans, change management strategies, and risk management plans.
  • Coordinate billing, compile monthly invoices, track approvals, and follow up on payments and subcontractor receivables.
  • Produce comprehensive project reports for teams, clients, and senior leaders as required.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Post‑secondary education in project management, finance, business, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in project controls or financial management; experience in engineering or construction environments is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Ability to navigate multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while adapting to shifting timelines.
  • Strong relationship‑building abilities and comfort collaborating with technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and Power BI is an asset.
  • Ability to learn and navigate WSP’s enterprise management system (Oracle).
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500

MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $70,600 – $97,200
