Role: Junior Business Analyst - Salesforce
Experience Level: 1-4 Years of experience
Work Location: New Jersey, USA (Hybrid)
Role Overview:
The Junior Business Analyst – Salesforce will support the analysis, design, and delivery of Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Health Cloud or Veeva CRM. This role works closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, document processes, support solution configuration, and ensure successful user adoption within healthcare and life sciences environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Design, configure, and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform, with a focus on Health Cloud or Veeva CRM.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Flows to automate business processes.
- Collaborate with developers to guide the development of custom Apex scripting and Lightning components.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including process flows, data models, and technical designs.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new features and processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce Health Cloud or Veeva CRM.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud or Veeva CRM.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining complex Salesforce Flows.
- Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot Apex code. Basic scripting ability is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Familiar with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
Other Qualifications (OQs):
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, MHRA) and industry standards (ISO, IMDRF, PIC/s) in life sciences.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Health Cloud Accredited Professional).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with integration tools and APIs.
- Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
