We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team.  The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to manage data accurately and stakeholders effectively. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and look for opportunities to proactively provide insights and solutions to help drive informed decision-making throughout the organization.  This role will primarily support Digital Marketing, as well as Brand Marketing and Trade Asset Management as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Partnership:

  • Build collaborative relationships to become trusted, strategic partners that enable stakeholders to achieve their goals and initiatives
  • Collaborate with and influence stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPI’s) and develop solutions to find, track, and communicate data-driven insights
  • Lead the upleveling of stakeholders by championing data fluency throughout the organization with the creation of documentation, training, and coaching
  • Facilitate the development of new technical capabilities required to take advantage of upcoming investments geared towards digital transformation

Insight and Solution Creation:

  • Translate business needs and requirements into projects and manage by setting realistic milestones, deliverables, and achievable value
  • Extract meaningful insights from various data sources using statistical techniques and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth and optimization.

  • Design, build, and maintain data visualizations and other solutions in support of business objectives, ensuring consistency and accuracy while meeting best practices and standards
  • Provide actionable, fact-based recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in analytics and drive continuous improvement initiatives

 

Data Governance and Quality:

  • Oversee the enabling and transformation of enterprise data sets to enable efficient data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Collaborate with IT and data management teams to ensure data quality, security, and integrity

Required Qualifications:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Sciences, Statistics, or a related field

Experience:

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years, 5 years preferred) in business analytics, data analysis, or a similar role

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools
  • Expert-level proficiency with PowerBI, including DAX, Power Query (M language), SQL, and overall deployment of standardized templates and dashboards
  • Proficiency in other data analysis tools and programming languages (eg. Python) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization is preferred

Other Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to self-manage and work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience within the Out-of-Home CPG industry is preferred
