The Senior Data Analyst plays a key role in delivering the University’s Data Strategy to 2030 and beyond by providing high-quality insight to support strategic decision-making and performance improvement. The role has a primary focus on Estates, leading the development of data-driven insight to inform estate planning, utilisation, sustainability, and operational performance, while also contributing to analytical work across the wider University.
Working within the Business Intelligence & Insight team, the postholder will lead the design, development, and delivery of analytical products that generate actionable insight, support institutional and estates planning, track performance indicators, and surface opportunities to better understand and address complex challenges across the University.
The working pattern for this post is full time, however we may consider offering reduced hours for the right candidate.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on either 27 or 29 July 2026.

Salary Information:
New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe.
