How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Financial Analyst for our Performance Coatings Group, you will support the creation and execution of business strategies and deliver relevant short-term and long-term financial analyses to support profitable business growth for the Region. In addition, you would be responsible for goal setting, providing updates on financial progress, improvement initiatives, budgeting, and reporting. In this role, you will:

  • Monitor financial performance of the business unit including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Provide timely, concise, and actionable financial information to business unit leader and other respective management
  • Finance lead for the development of the Region’s annual operating plans and forecasts
  • Support innovation through new product costing and volume analysis to determine the future profitability and value proposition for new products
  • Partner with manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to analyze product costs, set pricing strategies, and drive margin optimization across the portfolio
  • Generate analysis and understanding of the budget and forecasts to help management make informed decisions that drive the performance of the business
  • Partner with the business in the coordination and development of the strategic plan / trajectory
  • Support the monthly business review process, monthly financial reporting and other required reporting
  • Prepare month-end closing deliverables
  • Manage rebate agreements and commission & accruals
  • Support adherence to documented internal controls; Assist with development of new controls
  • Maintain the integrity of financial systems and reporting modules
  • Assist with Global PCG and ad hoc projects as required

Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of financial experience
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to improve processes and business outcomes
  • Excellent systems and financial modeling skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Well-organized, flexible, ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a drive to achieve results
  • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial principles and accounting

Preferred Qualifications That Drive You Forward

  • MBA, CPA, CMA or equivalent
  • SAP, PowerBI, and Microsoft Co-Pilot knowledge
